Peso Pluma powalczy o nagrodę u boku Anitty
Ogłoszono większość nominowanych do nagród MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2024. Na czele listy znajduje się Taylor Swift z maksymalnie 10 nominacjami, a za nią plasuje się Post Malone, który zdobył dziewięć. Z sześcioma nominacjami i wielokrotnym remisem trzecie miejsce zajmują: Ariana Grande, Eminem i Sabrina Carpenter.
W Ameryce Łacińskiej Anitta się zdobyła trzy nominacje, a Bad Bunny i Rauw Alejandro otrzymali po dwie. Choć trzeba zaznaczyć, że Benito będzie walczył o jedną z największych nagród w kategorii „Artysta Roku”.
Pomimo wrzasku w sieciach nominacje dla Chappella Roana i Charli XCX były niskie. Dzieje się tak prawdopodobnie dlatego, że ich eksplozja wyświetleń nastąpiła bardzo blisko końca okresu czytelności, czyli do 20 czerwca tego roku. Największą nieobecność z tego samego powodu odnotowuje „Not Like Us” Kendricka Lamara, jeden z utworów, który w ostatnich latach wygenerował najwięcej wyświetleń i interakcji.
Warto również zaznaczyć, że nominacja do letniej piosenki zostanie ogłoszona w ciągu najbliższych tygodni. Będzie więc szansa, że któryś z tych nieobecnych utworów znajdzie się na tegorocznej liście.
